01 • Store Concept Changes & Refits

Store Concept Changes & Refits

From a complete strip-out to a new store concept, IPS StoreOps reorganises the sales floor around the client’s plan: fixture removal, layout changes, furniture installation, stock movement and final implementation. We can reshape a store’s circulation, reconfigure gondola runs, create new aisles and support in-store communication where required.

02 • Fixture Relocation & Installation

Fixture Relocation & Installation

We dismantle, relocate, receive and install metal, mixed-material and display fixtures — including gondolas, shelving, racks and promotional furniture. When an assembled move is not suitable for the furniture, we dismantle it, relocate it and rebuild it in its new position.

03 • Merchandising & Store Filling

Merchandising & Store Filling

With approved planograms, we execute the required shelf filling and merchandising. When no plan is available, we work with the client or store lead to understand local priorities, customer habits and preferred presentation standards. Our role is to offer practical merchandising options, then implement the agreed approach with consistency.

Operating method

Plan → Mobilise → Execute → Verify

01 • Plan

Define the real scope

Every intervention starts with a clear description of what the client needs: store filling, fixture relocation, refit or a full concept change.

For major layout or furniture work, we review the current plan and the target plan before quoting. This allows us to size the team, sequence the work and build a realistic night-by-night delivery plan.

We track planned output against actual progress throughout the intervention, so adjustments can be made early if needed.

Every project begins with a clear scope review: analyzing current and target store layouts, sizing the operative team, and structuring a realistic night-by-night delivery sequence aligned directly with store management before starting.

02 • Mobilise

Prepare the site and team

Before work starts, IPS StoreOps aligns access times, site arrangements and operational expectations with the store manager, client or designated contact.

Teams arrive ahead of store closing to understand the environment, confirm the working area and prepare the tools and handling equipment required for the task.

Fixtures, stock and external deliveries remain coordinated with the client and its suppliers unless otherwise agreed in the scope.

Our field teams arrive ahead of closing to review site access, verify the workspace, stage tooling and handling equipment, and align expectations with the store manager for a fast start at closing.

03 • Execute

Work with discipline overnight

After closing, the team lead assigns clear responsibilities and sequences the work around the agreed priority. The team executes the planned refit, relocation, installation, filling or merchandising work through the night.

Before handback, we clean the intervention area, manage packaging as agreed with the store, and check product and shelf-label consistency where this is included in the brief.

Our crew works disciplined through the night executing fixture relocation, layout rebuilds, shelf stocking, and ticket preparation. We finish with complete packaging disposal and clean handover before doors open to customers.

04 • Verify

Check before the store opens

Before leaving, two team members complete a final walkthrough against the agreed scope. We document the result through photos, video and a concise progress report.

The following morning, IPS StoreOps contacts the store’s designated person to confirm that the handback meets expectations and to identify any issue early — before it affects the trading day.

Before leaving site, two team members conduct a rigorous walkthrough against plan, documented with high-resolution photo and video logs. We contact store leadership at dawn to guarantee immediate readiness for morning trading.
