A complete concept change is more than moving a few fixtures. It is a coordinated transformation of the store: removing or relocating the existing environment, implementing the target layout, receiving and installing new fixtures where required, repositioning stock, rebuilding departments and handing back a customer-ready store.
IPS StoreOps can manage the field sequence from the first dismantling task to the final merchandising pass. Fixture removal, layout changes, stock movement, installation, shelf filling, price-ticket preparation where included and cleaning are organised as one delivery programme under one IPS operational contact.
We begin with the current plan, target plan, project brief and available site information. This allows us to review circulation, fixture changes, delivery timing, stock volumes, access, safety points and the number of intervention nights required. Where practical issues appear on site, we bring workable options to the client’s designated decision-maker before changing the sequence.
A concept change may involve new fixtures supplied by the client or its vendors, the reuse of existing furniture, or both. IPS StoreOps does not sell the fixtures; we coordinate the practical implementation agreed for the project — including dismantling, relocation, installation and preparation of the selling space.
Where the scope and safety conditions allow, work can be organised around the store’s opening hours, including overnight intervention. The objective is always controlled handback: clean areas, agreed layout, accessible customer routes and a store prepared for the next trading day.
In some projects, yes. A temporary retail structure can allow part of the sales activity to continue while renovation or major store works take place. IPS StoreOps can assess whether a temporary retail space is practical for the site, then coordinate the operational work around it: erecting and dismantling the structure, transferring suitable fixtures and merchandise, supporting the temporary selling area, and moving the store back after the works. This can reduce unnecessary handling, storage and return transport while keeping merchandise close to the operation. Most importantly, it can help the client maintain customer access and sales activity instead of closing completely — where the project conditions make that solution viable.
Send the current plan, target concept, key dates and operational priorities. We will review the delivery conditions before confirming the team, sequence and timing.
