IPS StoreOps manages the practical movement, dismantling and installation of retail fixtures inside a live project sequence. From gondolas and shelving to mixed-material display furniture, we organise the work around the target plan, the condition of the equipment and the operating reality of the store.
Some fixtures can be relocated assembled. Others must be emptied, dismantled, moved safely and rebuilt in their new position. The decision is made on site according to length, weight, condition, access routes, load and safety requirements — always aligned with the client’s agreed scope.
We work from the approved installation or layout plan, checking circulation routes, emergency access, fire-safety points and the required alignment of every run. Where a fixture is too long or unsuitable for a single move, the team adapts the method: sectioning, dismantling or controlled relocation.
Before a fixture area is handed back, IPS StoreOps checks positioning, stability, presentation, cleanliness and the agreed store layout. If existing furniture presents a material condition or safety concern, it is reported before installation. We do not proceed with equipment that creates an unacceptable risk.
Most fixture-relocation projects take place within the same store. When a project requires an inter-site transfer, IPS StoreOps can also dismantle, palletise, load, transport, unload and rebuild fixtures as an agreed delivery sequence.
Yes. IPS StoreOps can relocate, dismantle, reconfigure and rebuild metal or mixed-material retail fixtures as part of a store transformation. The working method depends on the fixture length, condition, weight, merchandise load and safe movement route. Some units can be moved in place; others are emptied, dismantled and rebuilt in their new position. Where necessary, long runs can be separated into manageable sections before reinstallation. The final layout is checked against the approved plan, customer access requirements and safety routes. If existing fixtures present a material safety risk because of their condition, IPS StoreOps will identify that risk before proceeding.
Send the current plan, target layout and project scope. We will review the practical delivery conditions before confirming the team, sequence and timing.
