IPS StoreOps
Core Service

MERCHANDISING AND STORE FILLING — BUILT FOR THE WAY PEOPLE BUY.

Store filling is not just about putting stock on shelves. It is about creating a clean, logical and customer-ready sales floor that supports sales from day one. IPS StoreOps delivers full-service retail merchandising: unpacking, sorting, linear adjustment, planogram execution, price-ticket preparation where included, reserve-stock organisation and final control of the sales floor.

Work from the planogram — or build the right practical solution.

When a planogram is provided, we implement it in full, subject to the fixtures and components required to make it achievable. When no plan exists, we work directly with the client’s designated decision-maker to understand priorities, key product lines, customer habits and the intended store presentation before implementing the agreed approach.

From pallet to shelf, with control at every stage.

Available stock is unpacked, sorted, allocated by department and merchandised with care. The team checks duplicate products, shelf capacity, facings and price alignment where pricing is included in the scope. Where necessary, we adjust shelf configuration or rework linear metres to achieve a coherent customer-facing result.

Sales floor and reserve area, both left in order.

We can rebuild overhead or back-stock zones where these exist, bring stock down when required and reorganise the reserve area as part of the agreed sequence. Cardboard, waste and work materials are cleared so the store is handed back clean — on the sales floor and in the areas we have worked.

A store ready to trade, not simply filled.

The final objective is a clear, well-presented store that reflects the client’s agreed merchandising direction and is ready for the next trading day. The store lead remains involved throughout the intervention so practical decisions are made with the right person, at the right time.

Operational Detail

Can IPS StoreOps fill and merchandise a store from pallets?

Yes. IPS StoreOps does not simply fill shelves. We combine store filling with merchandising: product sorting, department allocation, shelf presentation, facing, price-ticket work where agreed, duplicate checks and final retail controls. Where needed, we reassess the linear space allocated to a category so the presentation remains coherent, practical and commercially effective. We can also bring reserve stock down to the trading floor, or rebuild over-shelf stock areas where the store uses them. If the client provides a planogram, the team follows it precisely, subject to the available fixtures and components. If no planogram exists, the layout is agreed with the client’s designated decision-maker, using the store’s priorities and practical merchandising principles. The intervention finishes with carton removal, cleaning and controls in both the trading floor and the stock area. The objective is not full shelves for their own sake, but a clean, organised and trade-ready store.
